Ruediger Glatz
*17.11.1975, Heidelberg
Ruediger Glatz is a Hamburg-based photographer whose work explores identity, memory, and contemporary culture through long-term series and cross-disciplinary collaborations. Known for projects ranging from BACKFLASHES – A Portrait of Bombing (Graffiti) and his ongoing collaborations with Tilda Swinton and Olivier Saillard to KAMENICA – A Portrait of Chemnitz, he has exhibited widely across Europe and the US. Before dedicating himself fully to art, Glatz co-founded Montana Cans and helped shape the international graffiti and urban art landscape. Today he is as well chairman of the German Photographic Society (DGPh).
