GENESIS

on february 25, 2007, after a meeting at the powerhouse arena and on the way via subway and taxi to the armory show and jfk, i captured a scene from the cab that instantly compelled me to prioritize my artistic work for the rest of my life. genesis distills that single day in new york into impressionistic, long-exposure snapshots — life, flow, drifting, love. on may 16, 2023, i released the series as genesis drop at hvw8 gallery, berlin: my first nft series, each token linked to a corresponding physical piece — the moment i decided to publish my future work as nfts connected to books, zines, and print editions.
