UPROOTING

on my 37th birthday, the tree planted in honour of my birth was felled — my father had become strongly allergic to its pollen. i photographed the tree beforehand so it can be printed in life size, and documented the process of its slaughtering. the wood was preserved and will remain in another form. the project is still physically in process.
